Maybe during the tutorial you can cover how to best push scale, I find it hard to create depth and space on the canvas, all my elements seem to be too big which makes the image feel flatter, how do you balance the scale of the composition. Thanks :)

It would be awesome to show how you approach environments and world building approaches like the ones you did from recent AC (Valhalla-Origins).

Your 2D sketches have such fantastic compositions, lighting and scale. It would be great to get an insight into how you create such evocative environments with such stripped back line work.

Hi Raph, I’d love to hear more about what goes into designing shapes in your landscapes. I guess it’s closely related to composition, but I mean how you choose to translate (stylise or push) nature to serve design purposes and the thought process behind that. Cheers!

Hi Rapha,
I think you have covered a lot of technical aspects of your work through previous tutorials. It would be a really interesting topic to cover early ideation phase, in particular how you decide on a design direction, your research method, your approach to shape language of your illustrations and where you draw your inspiration from.
Tons of appreciation for your work, you're one of the all time greats. Cheers!

- How to bounce back and find solutions when you're stuck on a piece or when it doesn't go as planned
- Where and how to gather references and use them in a creative way, not just plainly copying them
- What to do when you're in a persistant artblock
- How to make a living as an average artist when working in the game/film industry doesn't suit you
- Is it possible to build a career without being able to draw well?
Thanks Raphael! :)

Maybe how you go about choosing your colors for your scenes?
Or perhaps what kept you going when you struggled and wanted to learn more? Or hit technical snags, etc?
